Asking him to send a score of Tannhäuser to the director of the Hofoper in Vienna, saying that only the cut in the Allegro of the second finale is admissable--otherwise everything is to be left complete, especially in the first scene (Tannhäuser and Venus); at the top of the page is a signed note (presumably in the recipient's hand) stating that the Tannhäuser score was sent on 27 March, the score being that of Uhlich's [i.e. Theodor Uhlig's?] widow.
